The ultimate holding company is umw holdings berhad, also incorporated in Malaysia, is publicly listed in the kuala lumpur stock exchange with a turnover of rm6.25 billion for 2004.As of 1 january 2001, there was an internal restructuring of the umw group of companies in Singapore. Umw equipment & systems pte ltd has merged into umw trading & engineering pte ltd, whose registered name has been changed to umw equipment & engineering pte ltd. Our annual business turnover as at 31 december 2004 was s$50.0 million.The principal activities of our company are to import, distribute, repair, maintain and service material handling equipment and heavy equipment. In addition, our company also designs and manufactures a range of airport ground support equipment catered to customers' needs.
